(Re)Frame February 16, 2019

Blanca Huertas-Agnew presents (Re)Frame. In collaboration with six local dancers and mixed media artist, Jen McCleary, Blanca will share her MFA Final journey. The culmination of her choreographic research project explores the relationship between gender, technique, and inequality within the current patriarchal structure in classical ballet. (Re) Frame looks at ballet through the lens of the female body. The event will include an exhibition of McCleary’s works, the final choreographic research project, followed by a discussion between the audience, dancers, visual artist, and choreographer to share the insides of the collaborative process.
